UKZN Winter (Summer) School 2018
WINTER (SUMMER) SCHOOL at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
A 2-week Winter (Summer) School at the University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN) in Durban, South Africa, will start on 25 June. The school is part of UKZN's regular programme of courses.
Five master students from the Department of Health Promotion and Development (HEMIL/UiB) will participate in this event within the framework of the SIU-funded UTFORSK project: “Partnership for Poverty and Sustainable Development Studies". They will follow courses related to the Masters Module in Development Studies: Political Economy of the Welfare State / Poverty and Sustainable Development.

Wenche Dageid (Associate Professor at the Department of Health Promotion and Development, Faculty of Psychology) was a visiting staff member from UiB at the University of KwaZulu-Natal during Winter (Summer) School. She presented two seminars on Agenda 2030: “Agenda 2030- Prospects for Health and Equity" and “Global Mental Health and Agenda 2030 - Leaving No One Behind?".
