Petter Eide

Petter Eide is the Secretary General for Norwegian Peoples Aid/Norsk Folkehjelp.

He is educated as a teacher and a social anthropologist. Eide has been political secretary for SV, the Socialist Left Party (1986–1991), and information advisor in Geelmuyden.Kiese, a big marketing company. Mostly he is known from his years as a profiled Secretary General for Amnesty Norway (2000–2007).
