Sara Hossain, M.A. (Hons) Jurisprudence, Wadham College, Oxford University, 1988.

Starting 2003 she has practiced as a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, primarily in the areas of constitutional law and public interest law, and family law (including Muslim personal law). Significant judgments obtained on freedom from forced eviction w/o rehabilitation, habeas corpus, gender equality (women's political participation in local government), freedom of association (of NGOs), voting rights and contempt of court.
